Philip Hinojosa — President
Philip Hinojosa serves as President of Akamai Operations Group Inc, (AOG) bringing more than 30 years of leadership, operational management, and technical security experience supporting government and commercial clients. Throughout his career, Mr. Hinojosa has successfully led complex projects involving secure facility construction, critical infrastructure protection, physical security systems, and mission-critical technology integration.
Under his leadership, AOG has developed a reputation for delivering responsive, high-quality, and security-focused solutions tailored to the unique requirements of federal agencies, defense contractors, healthcare facilities, and critical infrastructure environments. His expertise includes ICD-705 secure construction, access control & fire alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV integration, fiber optic infrastructure, project management, and security operations.
Mr. Hinojosa is committed to building long-term partnerships through integrity, professionalism, and dependable execution. His strategic vision continues to drive AOGs growth while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and mission success.
D. Michael Pool — Director of Fire Alarm
D. Michael Pool serves as Director of Fire Alarm for Akamai Operations Group Inc, (AOG) bringing extensive experience in technical project oversight, fire alarm systems, life safety compliance, system integration, security to include intrusion, access control and video. Mr. Pool is responsible for overseeing the planning, installation, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems supporting government, commercial, healthcare, and critical infrastructure facilities.
With a strong background in fire alarm technologies and code compliance, Mr. Pool ensures all systems are installed and maintained in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and industry standards, including NFPA requirements and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) regulations. His expertise includes system design coordination, device installation, commissioning, system upgrades, inspections, and integration with other security and building management systems.
Mr. Pool plays a critical role in ensuring operational readiness, occupant safety, and regulatory compliance across all supported projects. His attention to detail, technical knowledge, and commitment to quality workmanship contribute significantly to AOG’s ability to deliver reliable, mission-focused fire and life safety solutions
Janet Bauer — Executive Administrator
Janet Bauer serves as Executive Administrator for Akamai Operations Group Inc, (AOG), providing executive-level administrative leadership, operational coordination, and organizational support across all areas of the company. Ms. Bauer plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of corporate operations, client communications, project coordination, and administrative compliance.
With strong organizational and leadership skills, Ms. Bauer supports executive management by overseeing scheduling, document control, contract administration support, internal communications, reporting functions, and office operations. Her ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism contributes to the successful execution of company objectives and client deliverables.
